Traditional Villages
If you chose to stay in one of our village properties during your holidays in Bulgaria, you will be charmed by the hospitality and friendliness of the Bulgarian people. In most areas, agriculture is the mainstay, and you will probably see more people traveling by donkey and cart than by car!

All villages have small local shops and a bus service, although we recommend hiring a car to help you make the most of your holidays in Bulgaria. The way of life has generally not changed for centuries, with most people still keeping animals and farming their own land. Each village is surrounded by miles of open countryside, allowing you to make take long walks and enjoy the scenery and healthy clean air. If you enjoy cycling, we are able to arrange bicycle hire at village properties during you holidays in Bulgaria.
